Monitor Tire Pressure with Genuine Nissan TPMS

The team here at Bill Korum's Puyallup Nissan understands how crucial parts like tire pressure monitor systems are important to your safety on the road. Tire pressure monitor systems alert you when tire inflation drops below safe levels. These electronic sensors prevent accidents and tire damage caused by underinflation. We provide genuine Nissan TPMS components that deliver accurate readings and reliable warning alerts.

How Tire Pressure Monitoring Works

TPMS sensors mount inside each wheel and measure air pressure continuously. These battery-powered units transmit radio signals to a receiver module in your vehicle. The Nissan Pathfinder and Nissan Armada both use direct TPMS that provides individual tire pressure readings. When pressure drops below the programmed threshold, the system triggers a warning light on your dashboard. The sensors also monitor temperature changes that affect pressure. These systems integrate with your wheels to provide constant pressure monitoring while driving.

Why TPMS Sensors Stop Working

Internal batteries have limited lifespan, typically five to ten years before replacement becomes necessary. Corrosion damages sensor housings and electrical connections from moisture exposure. Physical impact during tire service breaks the sensor stem or internal components. Temperature extremes accelerate battery depletion and sensor failure. Aftermarket sensors often use lower-quality components that provide inaccurate readings or fail prematurely compared to genuine Nissan sensors.

When TPMS Components Need Replacement

Replace sensors when the TPMS warning light illuminates and stays on continuously. Sensors should be inspected during every tire change for physical damage. Battery-powered sensors typically require replacement between 60,000 and 100,000 miles. Failed sensors prevent proper pressure monitoring and compromise safety.

The Bill Korum's Puyallup Nissan has all the parts you need for your project and will be there to answer any questions.
